Ministers are scored on Probity (60%) and Legislative Initiative (40%) only. Attendance and question-based metrics are excluded as ministers serve an executive function.

The scoring methodology draws from four established frameworks for evaluating legislative performance.

IPU Indicators for Democratic Parliaments
The Inter-Parliamentary Union defines 7 SDG-aligned targets with 111 dimensions. This scorecard maps to Target 1: Effective, Target 2: Accountable, Target 4: Responsive, and Target 6: Participatory.
Sansad Ratna Awards
India's premier MP performance awards, founded by Prime Point Foundation. Evaluates questions raised, debates participated, private member bills introduced, and attendance.
PRS Legislative Research
Independent research institute tracking Indian legislative activity. Provides attendance percentages, questions asked, and bills data for all state assemblies and Parliament.
MyNeta / ADR
Association for Democratic Reforms maintains election affidavit data. Criminal cases, assets, liabilities, and education data sourced from candidate self-declarations.
